I liked Star Wars The Force Awakens, but visually and creatively, it didn't go as far as it could/should have. The designs for the troopers are more modern, but it doesn't look like 30 years have passed since Return of the Jedi. 5 years at best. So I took upon myself to redesign the troopers and Kylo Ren, with more futuristic, sci-fi looks. And in doing this I started imagining what a comic book with those designs would look like, hence the fake comic book cover (Maleev and Mounts are who I'd want to draw and color that book, but it's fan wish, and in no way something official. They are not involved in this project).
