I haven't posted here in a while, mostly because I didn't have much time to draw, and what I DID draw wasn't always worth posting here. But I'm gonna fix it.
For today, I present you a fan (me) redesign of my favorite Green Lantern : Kyle Rayner. Poor Kyle has gone through a lot in his comic book life, and in his costuming as well. Some costumes are better than others, but there is always something good to take.
So for this redesign, I basically blended elements from his various designs, and added other elements from newer Green Lantern designs. I'm not super happy about the boots and gauntlets, but I'm really happy about the rest of the design.
As for the colors, I wanted the black to be so black it doesn't reflect light, and the green to be super shiny, like some kind of liquid metal.
I also did this one to keep practicing my digital inking.
