DC Comics recently released infos, covers, and designs for their 2021 event FUTURE STATE. In this story, Cassandra Cain has a new design, an upgrade of her Orphan costume and with a great new Bat-symbol.
I knew it was only a matter of time before I drew this design (by Dan Mora), so I made it happen this week.
I wanted the yellow to pop out, so I desaturated the other colors completely.
This artwork also served as an experiment to practice inking directly, without drawing a sketch prior to it. It makes the whole process a lot faster and dynamic for me.
